Private Lesson Rotation Schedule – Mar 18
Update as of March 18, 2019
We are entering the final crunch and the final cleaning month before festival! Yay!
I am looking at the Yates rehearsal this week as a SPACING rehearsal.
Dances are not yet clean!
Please drop the students off 15 minutes or more before scheduled Yates times to warm up.
Parents do not need to stay and teachers would prefer to have the time with the kids themselves like a regular class for all groups. Talking , visiting get overwhelming in the audience. Lets take full advantage of this theatre time!
We have 3 full weeks back at the studio to do a full cleaning rotation.
Attendance will be key in those 3 weeks!
Attached is the schedule for the next 4 weeks.
This is not a week! Week 1 starts Monday March 25
This week is Yates rehearsal. Confirm your times. Come in bodysuit, tights, dance shoes and hair back (Page 1)
Regular classes on Monday, Tuesday and Saturday and limited classes Wed, Thur, Fri (See page 2 for class clarification for this week) Friday, Saturday and Sunday Private lesson schedule(Page 3, 4 and 5)
Please notice on these pages that extra groups rehearse every week(at different times and with different teachers at times)
Please notice that some teachers have bumped times to 15 minute times but see students more often…check for your names weekly. For myself and a few others, I feel my numbers are now at the point of performance and running, 15 minutes more often is beneficial. There are some teachers who still want to clean and have kept times to 30 minutes one more time.
Miss Heather would like to try to keep every other weekend up but this will be tentative depending on how her Mom is doing. Please notice that I have asked people not to book into Heather’s times quite yet until the students on her wait list have had a chance to contact me as to whether they still want the times. I will then open up the extra times.
A few of the instructors are not available on certain days this rotation.
I have removed them from the schedule. Feel free to book on the days that they have opened up as make-up spots.
Instructors who have opened up extra times are urging you to book ONLY if your child needs the time. Don’t over do! We want kids well prepared but fresh not tired.

3 week schedule summary (Nov 1)
Parents, I ask on behalf of all the instructors:
Please give your private lesson time to the teachers and your child. Come in and video/watch quietly the last 5 minutes of the lesson if you wish too. Video is always a good idea. Sometimes parents can become too vocal with the students and teachers during these sessions but please remember that your child is already getting feedback from the teacher. A private lesson is a learning curve…we do not expect the students to do these steps perfectly the first go. We want to challenge them so that they have steps to improve on throughout the year! Sometime the pressure on the students from teacher/parent becomes overwhelming. Please do not add to the pressure by “helping” the teachers instruct! All of us want your child to excel!!
