Heather Reddekopp
Miss Heather started dancing at the very young age of 3 under the tutelage of Doris Sitter. She pursued dance with dedicated enthusiasm, completing all of her CDTA Tap and Jazz certificates as well as her Advanced RAD Ballet certificate. Miss Heather trained in many disciplines and competed during her training, winning awards along the way.
Miss Heather studied, performed, choreographed and taught dance in Lethbridge while she attended University, receiving her BA and BEd. At Convocation, she was awarded the William Aberhart Gold Medal for Excellence in Teaching. She has been teaching at Van Dance Studio for the past 16 years. Miss Heather has choreographed several shows for the University of Lethbridge Theatre Program as well as for the New West Theatre Society. Her work includes; All Fired Up!, Rockin’ the Rodeo, Celebration, Let’ Er Rip!, Glitz, Invasion, Gettin’ Rowdy, Razzmatazz, The Mikado…. And many more.
Miss Heather teaches a diverse number of styles and has been awarded numerous choreography awards at various competitions. She is very passionate about dance, and she loves sharing her knowledge with students of all ages!
