In 1982, Vanessa opened VanDance Studio in Saskatchewan teaching at many different small towns and venues around Moose Jaw. Several years later she moved to Alberta and taught different disciplines and styles around Southern Alberta eventually opening VanDance Studio Taber in 1990.
VanDance operated for 15 years in Taber, and eventually took over the existing Studio One Dance Academy in Lethbridge as well. The two studios operated simultaneously for an additional 12 years along with several Satellite studios that branched out.
In 2017, Vanessa decided to focus all her efforts on one location and merged the two locations. VanDance continues to operate at the current location in Lethbridge.
VanDance has always taken pride in the high calibre of training it offers its’ students. The staff at VanDance has an amazing array of teaching, performing and talent that they share with their students every day.
