Miss Renee credits her early and lifelong training from the Grand Matriarch of Dance, Mrs. Doris Sitter of the Doris Sitter School of Dance in Moose Jaw. At a young age, she pursued many workshops and summer schools having regular contact with many noted Canadian Teachers like Brian Foley, Sonia Chamberlain, etc. and was a regular competition/exam student. McKenna started dancing at the age of 4 years old at Van Dance Studios in Lethbridge, where she received training in tap, jazz, ballet, hip hop, lyrical, modern, and musical theatre.
